where swim lives the fall has just arrived, now the trees are flowering. the other day while swim was walking, an intense smell of spice come to him. this is quite usual since he trips with Dimitri. But this time was so intense, that swim started to look for the source. It was an orange´s tree (citrus aurantium family), his white flowers smelled exactly like spice. very powerfully but a little more sweet. does this white flower has spice? could it be extracted?

where swim lives this flowers are used for making herbal medicinies and colognes. its called "flor de azahar".
searching on the internet it seems that rucae family has alkaloids commonly(citrics family). may it be a new source of spice?

This is something swim has noticed too.
The Flowers smell exactly like the Spice.

SWIM has also found flowers with the smell of Psilocybe Mushrooms ^^

I'm pretty sure orange blossoms do not have any natural DMT within them.:(
I could be wrong about that, but I don't think so...

I love the smell of orange blossoms!!
The smell of orange blossoms is one of the most seductive natural scents in the world, to me!!
It is such a beautiful & sexy smell!! (if that makes any sense?!?!?)

I live in an area where there is a lot of commercial orange groves that surround the city.
As soon as it begins to warm up a bit outside (from early March, until late May) and spring begins to show its colors, the thick smell of orange blossoms fill the air in the evenings. I like to open all of the windows in my house & let the smell of spring come on through!!
It's wonderful!!
Like a beautiful woman, wearing just enough of the ideal perfume, to accent her beauty.
It catches your attention with quick, subtle kisses to you senses & makes it hard to not pay attention to her.
Without being overbearing, or creating that old lady "perfume-cloud" that knocks you down from 6 feet away.

I love orange blossom season!!
Maybe a bit too much, huh?

Without looking it up, I believe the blossoms contain an essential oil called 'neroli'. It is quite expensive. If you ever find a 'tester' of it a health food store give it a whiff. Remniscent of orange but deeper notes. Perfect for a ladies neck.
I have often tried to compare the spice scent to something else for purposes of description, but it never gets past sandalwood and mothballs with a hint of 'new car'.

I have to say no to the question of the plant containing spice. I will look it up, but based on the popularity and almost global familiarity of the tree, I have to think curious and intrepid botanists would have tripped backwards over the information by now. If it were some obscure plant from the forests of timbuktwo then maybe.

Never hurts to ask. Bitchin' avatar by the way.

Thanks all!
