Anyone skied winter park Colorado?

It's absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.
If you've been skiing here your probably familiar with the gondala
(The Gondola at Winter Park Resort provides a high-speed scenic ride from the base village up to 10,700 feet at the Sunspot Mountaintop Lodge). I done DMT riding back down the mountain by myself
Needless to say, it was very "scenic"

Looks to be not vail owned? I would love to snowboard Colorado but the entire sport seems corrupted in the wake of the money grabbers aka vail etc…it feels ruined. Good to see some mountains sticking independent.

This season was terrible here in the PNW. Only went a few times just hopping rocks.

NM I see it’s Alterra lol. It looks awesome but I support the current lawsuit against vail for ruining skiing/snowboarding with the rediculous prices forcing ppl to buy the ikon passes or quit basically. It’s ruined the vibe of whistler entirely. I just avoid places that push the Ikon passes the last few years because I want to ride more than one day a season but not enough for a pass.

Dang, allot of the employers in the area actually provide season passes. I lived across the street in the hotel I worked at and we also had a ski shop in the hotel and they would rent us all the gear free. Literally have them suit us up and walk across the street. I fell in love with it and soon as I'm able plan on returning or at least somewhere I can get a ski gig for the winter like that. Winter parks awesome, the highest lift/area is above the tree line. Only place I've ever been so high up vegetation completely stops.

Recently I have discovered a new way to keep riding all summer when the surf is junk..

Now my dream of riding Utah and Colorado involves summer and wheels in Moab as well as snow.

Did you hang out in Mary Jane at all while you were at WP? Love that section so much, though I haven't been up in years.

Last time I went snowboarding was a couple years ago after a long stint of not being able to ride. Was happy to see i still got it.
