Arundo donax + Peganum harmala ayahuasca and bad result

Hi,

I have been wanting to have a dmt experience for a long time and I am lacking in dmt sources. i can only use arundo donax as a dmt source near me, but it is not a very powerful source. i wanted to try my luck anyway. i am in turkey and in my geography, peganum harmala (syrian rue), which is a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, is very dense and I can buy it immediately even in some herbal shops, and at very cheap prices.

there is a lot of arundo donax around me, I collected arundo donax 3 kilometers away from my house and when I got home I added arundo donax and MAOI half the amount of arundo d. and started to boil it. after half an hour of boiling, the yellow/orange mixture in ayahuasca took on a color and after waiting for a while I felt ready to drink it (honestly I never thought there would be a result)

i drank it, and half an hour to an hour after i drank it i had a strange sensation between my two eyebrows, and other than that there was no effect. after a while i found out that dmt is very little in the stem of arundo donax, its main source is in the root stem. unfortunately it failed for me. If can anyone help me to find dmt source, you can type.​

IIRC, even the rhizomes have been found to be pretty low in DMT.
I used to have Arundo donax in my yard (planted by me) to the point where it became invasive and I eliminated it. Makes great pipe stems, garden stakes, etc..
Never tried consuming it. I think that one was said to be not of use years ago.

I think it does not work both because I do not take the root stem and because I boil it less. since this plant is abundant in my country, spiritualists here try this method. some say it works.
