So you made the same mistake twice .?! ... You will have to wash it (again) ... and you'll make a mess again ... And still you don't know what you're doing ... ?!

I would have done an acid-base separation with at least the second half ... but  oh well, learn slow, be safe, and just order more MHRB !

I know nothing about the Lye-Eaters (someone will come to your 'rescue'..), but here's my "easy" advice-

Next time  soak at least 150g ground MHRB in 1.5 litres of water at pH 2.0 - 4.0 first, for just one day, two times, shaking it as hard as you want ! Filter that, and there's ALL the dmt in 150g MHRB,  in a purple solution you can store in teh fridge. Now basify the purple water (make it jet-black, pH 11.5)with naphtha present, do 3 pulls and it's all out !  Evap in a tray and it's ready to smoke - no washing needed and you'll get max yeild from the MHRB (0.7 - 0.9% clean!).

Sorry everyone - but  See what I mean..!? Lye-swilling newbies end up confused, doing extra steps to loose yeild , and/or  smoking crap.   Time to write the book called "STB for Dummies" ... That would be a much thicker book on the shelf next to the "Acid-Base Separation For Dummies" booklet.

In fact do people not ask about acid-base sep's as often since they are just not done, or because the A-B tek is so truly "easy" to get right..? YOu see so few "HELP! ... " threads about A-B teks, no ? Are people just doing STB, and teaching STB..?  Maybe I'm the out-moded 'dummy', all old-fashioned and paternalistically stuck in 'knowing' my biased shit, but who are these lye-eaters..!?..?!  We should take a poll (..again ?) !
