I have to admit I'm somewhat obsessed with Aurora's music. Haven't had the honor of experiencing her magic live yet, but it's definitely on my list of things to do before I die.
In particular, this performance of "Runaway," a song she wrote when she was 11 years old, is absolutely magical to me. In a way that's hard for me to put into words, it makes me feel nostalgic for a place I've never been to.
There's something about her that is enthralling. Her energy is so pure, so untainted, so seemingly free of the shackles that fame and fortune put on so many successful artists.
I can confidently say I will never stop loving her music. It's an interesting coincidence that my favorite music project ever - Wardruna - are from Norway, just like Aurora is. There's something in music made by Norwegians that really resonates with me.
