AVATAR 3D

Migrated topic.

fellows: Don't miss the new AVATAR 3D movie, by James Cameron. It was so awesome, I was stunned! Good plot for the members of this forum also. Absolute must to see in a REALd theatre!

i PLAN ON SEEING THIS ONE IN THE THEATR AS WELL..NOT SOMETHING i DO VERY OFTEN AT ALL..BUT THIS DID LOOK PRETTY GOOD...2012 WAS KINDA A DISSAPOINTMENT...SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE ONLY SO MUCH WITHOUT THE DEPTH OF A REALLY GOOD STORY

Yea I agree 2012 was absolute dog shite. The plot resembled a dumbed down version of The day after tomorrow with chase scenes that eventually became too unbearably over the top that you stop even caring. Then they tried to throw in some character development at the end and left an overall bitter taste in my mouth. Liked the explosions n stuff though.

Anyway yeah me and some friends are making a day out of it and going to see avatar in an Imax on a bit of 2c-i. Not that it needs chemical enhancement but I think it will make it ridiculous.

my birthday is coming up soon and a client of mine bought he and i two tickets to the best seats in the cinerama dome 3D for tomorrow afternoon!!!

i am utterly beside myself in anticipation!!!

L&G!!

JUST got back from seeing it....best seats in the house at hollywood's premier theatre, the cineramadome.

friends- that was the best movie i have seen in recent, and distant memory. it was so good that i can say without shame that i cried MULTIPLE times throughout. visually i can say that you have never seen anything that even comes close to this. truly beyond compare. far beyond.

creatively it is, again, on a whole new level never before approached in cinema. every detail, the planet (hope you're reading this pandora....cuz the planet's name is....well....you can figure it out) ;) and all of the details...the life, the society, the....EVERYTHING...i am in awe still and will probably be ruminating on this experience for a looooong time. half the times i wept was purely due to the awesome scope of the human imagination and what we, as creative beings, are capable of making.

the story- well- as shakespeare once said, there are only x number of story/plot scenarios out there. the story- if you were so A.D.D. and shallow to even TRY and compare it- could be likened to "dances with wolves"...and i only say this because i heard someone say this on the way out of the theatre....but it is in NO WAY like anything even in the story department. it was the story that had me weeping more than anything....so beautiful and so poignant....this film "saw me" (you'll get that reference after you watch the film). it tapped into a core belief system within me that almost made me feel like i was truly there.

as far as i'm concerned, i was.

i really have to say that i didn't so much "see" this movie..i "lived" it. the awesome 3D film style was so epic and not-gimicky....it's just 3D from start to finish and there are moments where you are so immersed that it makes you want to....well....you know...

and i did.

do not miss this movie, people. it is a special experience. i was going to imbibe some cannibis before seeing it, but i made a deal with a brother on this site to give up weed for a month so i went in straight edge. honestly, getting high for this might have just blown the brain right out of my cranium. i don't feel like i missed out on anything by being totally straight for the experience.

i will see this movie many more times while it's in theatres. the 3D is breathtaking but if you don't have a theatre playing it in 3D it's not like you're gonna be disappointed. it's just THAT good. i truly cannot think of ONE SINGLE THING i didn't like about this movie. i may just have to finish this rant by saying that this is now my favorite movie of all time....

...there. i said it.

LOVE AND GRATITUDE!!

I just got back..

My god that was the best move I have ever seen..and VERY trippy..everything glows and the 3d is amazing..

I got so damn baked..parts of the movie were really sad though..we need to save our mother earth:cry:..I couldnt stop thinking of the rainforests and indigenous peoples.

dreamt about it all night and am still feeling this movie this morning....FE- i'm glad you saw it brother....it really touched me deeply and it sounds like i wasn't the only one who shed a few tears... i love that this community is so sensitive to messages like the one in this movie. i feel like it is all part of the great conscious shift that is taking place.

this movie is important my friends. you really don't want to miss this...

L&G!!

yeah I had amazing dreams about it all night as well...insanly vivid ones all night..

I feel especially angry towards western civilization now...we really are the stupid ones..for all our technologies and science etc...we still cannot see..

It really makes me feel like an outcast among most people..enough to want to pack up and move off into the woods and be free..and not be a part of what thus culture is doing.

Seriousily something needs to be done...Im going to volunteer this year planting trees or doing something for the rainforest I live in..it's not acceptable what's going on.

it was so good that i can say without shame that i cried MULTIPLE times throughout.

i cried at least three times during the ending of the story...it reminded me so much of what dmt asked me to do...its so amazing...i want to watch it again...cant wait to see a GOOOD version...since im so secluded...i had to watch a silly bad version online...but it was still absolutely amazing

SWIM saw it today in 3D.... mind blowing!! watching it in 3D really immersed SWIM into the movie..... gonna go watch it tomorrow again! :D
