i wanted to suggest if possible allowing the user to be able to hide the chat room bars on top of the scroll or at least toning them down a bit. the blinking is really distracting and hard on the ole peepers especially when your tripping or have multiple private converstaions going.
they serve a useful purpose but the choice to turn them off would be awesome.
