I've been suspecting for some time that there are significant blood sugar fluctuations during experiences involving harmalas. I know harmalas are supposed to lower blood sugar, and I think that could be contributing to an important part of the effects perceived during the experience. However, I have no evidence that this is the case.

I've been looking up blood sugar measurement devices and they're quite cheap, so I'm planning to buy one and take some measurements. I invite anyone else interested in this topic to do that too.

The only requirement is that the experience involves a significant dose of harmalas. I know what is "significant" varies from one person to another, so that could be left at your discretion. It would be a dose that you know causes full inhibition on you.

I will share (and invite you to share):
- Dose, ROI, type, and timeline of harmalas and whatever other substance.
- Timeline, type, and approximate amount of anything you eat between two hours before the experience and the end of the experience.
- Blood sugar measurement just before taking any substance
- Blood sugar measurement just before taking the harmalas
- Blood sugar measurements at whatever time points you find doable. I will aim for one hour intervals, but I won't sacrifice the focus on the experience for this, so it may vary in practice.
