blotter route of somministration:oral or sublingual?

It really depends of the substance,if its LSD-25,its sublingual.
I have never noticed any difference. I think that at least part of the LSD on blotters will ALWAYS be entering the bloodstream via bloodvessels in the mouth, even if you swallow them.
And if not all of the LSD has entered the bloodstream through bloodvessels in the mouth, i think the remaining stuff will be quickly absorbed through the stomach.
But it seems LSD is actually a 'precursor' of something else, that it's not active by itself. So route of administration doesn't matter as much as with DMT or mescaline, since it has to be metabolised first. And the speed of metabolisation is the determining factor in how fast it will hit the brain.

Well, at least LSD doesn't seem to be active by itself.
When i take a blotter, i almost immediately feel some sense of stimulation and the weird 'electric' feeling in the throat.
But it ALWAYS takes an hour before i start noticing psychedelic effects. Doesn't matter whether my stomach is empty or not. It's always 55 to 65 minutes and no more or less than that.
That sugests that not the speed of absorbtion of it in the bloodstream determines how fast it will work, but some kind of metabolic mechanism.
It's sort of a 'weakest link' effect: no matter how fast you'd pump it into your bloodstream, there's some kind of mechanism in your body that determines how fast the psychedelic effects begin, and that mechanism is so slow that it wouldn't make a difference whether you'd inject it straight into your veins or eat it.

When ever ive taken blotters ive always chewed it up a bit and then put it on my gum and let it soak there for a while, then swallow. I get that "shaking/shivers" feeling after say like 15 minutes, and I start feeling it in about another 20.

I like sublingual drops of liquid LSD.

A blotter is good sublingual for 15min then swallow.
The liquid drops are so tiny, you usually want to drop them under you tongue and let them sit there until you forget about them.
It dissolve in saliva and absorb prolly very quickly by the sublingual tissues.
It takes around 30 min to feel something but sometimes more.
After one to two hours you are normally sure you are getting somewhere very interesting !
