body movement on psychedelics

Migrated topic.

Every trip I take triggers the movement. I never get visuals anymore, regardless of the dose. Every trip seems to be a replica of the previous ones, with slight variations. It's always in the body though, and it's always got to do with movement that is just happening, and I'm the witness.

Anyone else in this boat?

Can't say I'm in the same boat.

Strange that you don't get visuals, mine are strong and healthy so to speak. I might twitch once in awhile, not sure if it's a reaction my bodies having thinking its dying or what. Really not sure what kind of movement you're talking about.

Take care friend

Peace

Breakthrough doses of DMT put me in coma like state. I'm gone for those like 5 minutes, no body movements.

While return right after can be quite interesting. Once I experienced raw wild power of our ape like ancestors, and I was doing some kind of dance they were supposedly doing. It was like back to the primal roots. Very powerful experience it was.

i experience this almost every time, not with smoked dmt but with aya and shrooms. Feels almost like body becomes possessed in the way I have absolutely no control of my body and what it is doing. If i let go completely to fully let it take over feel immense energy as body involuntarily moves to the music in perfect synchronicity creating insane complex rythems beyond me. It does seem to take away most the visuals where to get them back i have to focus through meditation to rerelax my body completely to not "dance", but i actually prefer it often to the visuals. curious if what you experience is also rhythmic? and on what psychedelics?

Exactly. I can absolutely relate to the complex rhythms. There seems to be some sort of continuity about this movement, like the energy is flowing and bouncing inside the body, then when it encounters a blockage it shifts course like the roomba vacuum cleaner. Also, there's a sense of beginning and end, meaning that if I wanted to stop the movement, timing is important (kind of like when you have to stop listening to a song before it ends -I always try to at least wait till the end of a musical phrase).

Something else that occurs quite often is very fast and precise hand movements, much like in the staged fights from old straight-to-video kung-fu movies.

I use mushrooms.

Don't know if you've seen or read anything of Martin W Ball - he talks about this a fair bit. There are mixed opinions about him on here, and elsewhere, although I've enjoyed a couple of interviews of his I've seen on youtube more recently.

I've never had any movements with dmt - nor desire to move - but 5-meo seems to get your body moving, sometimes nothing specific and other times some sort of rhythmic interaction with the energy that's unfolding.

sweet :) was starting to think i was the only one after posting about this before not hearing bout anyone else. i know exactly what you mean about how when encounter blockages shifts course, n find it can help sometimes to clear them with certain movements. In many ways it help train me to let go of the mind and control, as i can feel through my body when my mind becomes present disrupting the flow of energy and the dance. Also right on about the timing, and how it relates directly to the music, so if want it to stop just put on some really slow ambient that seems to do it. I also started to feel was getting repetitive after a while but than after couple trips without it started to miss it glad it came back

I always move around when on DMT. My arms and legs make floating movements, like I'm in a swimming pool. Sometimes my hands make Hindu-eque poses. My tongue goes wild, and I often pant like an animal. When I do pant, I lose all humanity, the only thing that inhabits me is the primal spirit. This primal spirit takes the form of many different entities, which I transform into.
