Is there a difference between Brazilian and Maxican MHRB? Does one produce more potent dmt or give a better yeild?

I just received my order of 3lbs Mexican and 2lbs Brazilian and plan on doing a side by side comparison. I'll let you know the results, but this will be my first extractions ever as well so keep that in mind.
I have tried them both and have found the potency to be equal.. I have noticed that to me the Mexican root bark is more warm and friendly....I prefer it actually, It's nicer to me...
Maybe it has less jungle-spice in it or perhaps it's all in my head...
But anyway that's been my observation...I only used it for Ayahuasca so I have no real solid numbers for you...I know the mimosa I currently had came from mexico and only 5grams of that stuff sends me into hyperspace so I know it's strong.. Does not have much of a smell to it though, which worried me a bit...but it turned out MUY BUENO!

Also a point of clarification, they are not the same - one is from Mexico and one is from Brazil. As with any living organism, the region will influence things. My most recent dose is 100 grams of black Caapi from KT botanicals, 40-60mg of Harmine fumerate and one gram of Syrian rue. then the 5 grams mimosa
(NOTE: I have been hearing some caapi especially from Maya is way stronger than this!!!)
That for me is a tidy little dosage for shorter Ayahuasca sessions, for a full 3-4 hour session I generally take more harmine, 100-150mg and 150-200g of caapi and up the dosage of mimosa to 10-15 grams.

Thanks for the info. I was about to say upon first reading that that sounded like a lot of caapi, harmine, and rue. I'm going to make my first batch of Aya soon or possibly Pharma, and one thing that is a bit concerning to me is adding too much harmalas. I just don't want to be so sick throughout the experience that I can't take it in and enjoy it.
Anyways I'm not trying to derail this thread.
I did promise to report back on the differences of the Mexican and Brazilian I ordered. It took longer than I expected to start an extract on the Brazilian, but I finally got around to it and ran into a small issue. Not even really an issue. I just created a thread about this too btw. I believe I added the Brazilian MHRB to the basified solution too early. Meaning I believe the base solution was still too hot when I added the MHRB (350g too =\ ). Anyways, I didn't freeze precip. Straight evap with naphtha after agitating for about 30-45 mins prior to pulling.
The final product was a very light tan color, and I made very sure not to get any visible water/lye/bark particles in my evap dish. I'm wondering if the color is due to the excess heat when MHRB was added. Anyways it was very very active and I like it as much, if not more than the final product I got from the Mexican Mimosa (which was yellowish when evaporated and an off white when freeze precip'd). The Brazilian stuff felt very gentle and even seemed to last a bit longer (although that could be due to many things other than it being Brazilian bark). Next time I'm going to try a freeze precip with the Brazilian stuff to see what the final color difference will be. I'm also going to do a Re-X with bestine on half of the tan stuff and see how that comes out.
Edit: I just wanted to add that my first couple pulls of the Brazilian netted me a better yield than the Mexican (by a couple hundred mg on first pull and a little over 100 on the second.)
