Browsing through a thread

If I want to read a topic in a thread, let’s say a topic on page 87 in First steps in Hyperspace, I have to click a lot of times before I am there.

Why is it not possible to enter a page number so that one will be guided there immediately? I know this is possible on some other forums. Or am I overlooking something?

Find the topic you want...click the number of the post.

Now note that the address in the address bar has changed.
Now bookmark that address.

A quicker way to get there.
