Bufo alvarius venom

Has anyone here had an experience with Bufo alvarius venom? If so, can you let me know how it went? Please include dosage and how it was taken. I would be ecstatic to hear some personal experiences, or maybe even some suggestions.

i HAD two toads...the poor things...i tried to take care of them as best as i could..but they are just NOT happy in a cage...it was so sad...

anyway...their venom is interesting...its VEEERY powerful...i smoked quite a bit of it...but the extraction process grosses a lot of people out...and if anybody finds out about it..they will think you are licking your toads...seriously..people are that uninformed..its sad

take a bit of the stuff..and then just smoke it...thats all there is to it
 
I can't imagine a toad enjoys its self-defense mechanism being forcibly deployed repeatedly. And not even in an ephemeral "the cactus spirit doesn't like vinegar" sense, but in an actual "the animal is stressed and uncomfortable" sense. There are botanical sources of the drugs in bufo venom that do not involve causing pain to an animal. I, for one, would not want the idea of any pain caused by the collection process to taint any entheogenic experiences.
 
I own a red tailed boa, a leopard gecko, and a Bufo alvarius.I Love them all. My bufo eats like crazy, 4 dozen crickets about twice a week and a pinkie mouse. I have milked the venom once. I tried to be as gentle as possible. I don't have an accurate scale so I put all the venom in the pipe hovered the lighter and inhaled. I took about two small hits. My body felt almost numb. My head felt a tad spacey, and all i wanted to do was lay down. The effects seemed not very powerful. No visuals what so ever. I just feel like i have not explored the full potential of this substance.

yeah..this isnt a very visual substance...it MAY be if you freebased it though...seeing as how there is bufotenine in it...but for me...it was like entering this vast blackness...
 
elofer has been very interested in this as well..but i feel its not fair to keep the beautiful creatures in a cage either...phalaris grass extract (p.arundinacea var. 'turkey red' ) was increadibly potent and has much of the same make-up accept for lack of bufotenine..all one can say for that stuff is that it is like being struck by lightning, followed by very intense vibratory sensations and the thought that one had actually killed oneself..not visual so much just a intense shimmering that resonated with the vibrations in ones body. quite disconcerting but usefull nonetheless.
and the graas just keeps growing and growing and growing and growing....and cows much it all the time..its nature the grass actually gets stronger for it.
 
^first time I ever smoked phalaris extract it was very similar to that as well. I thought I had died.
It was picked in winter with snow on the ground..the grass was yellow and dead.

All other experiments with grass picked in the summer were less effective..maybe I just did not smoke enough though. The first time I hit the stuff real hard and fell to the floor. I heard and felt a pop in my pineal area and then pineal pressure and then a wave came over me..I fell down and saw swirling red and had a very weird sort of ego death..

I never touched that particular extract again either:wink: ..guess I was afraid!
