Wanted to put this in the Cimora Brew section but will do a new one as I'm very intrigued on this alone. Has anyone ever combined the two? Blue Green Algae has a great deal of AFA is a Unique Source of PEA (Phenylethylamine).

Considering that Cacao works so well with Cacti it seems that Blue Green Algae would be extremely compatible.

Hopefully others have tried but if not I will.

I plan on adding some AFA extract to my Peruvian Torch Total Alkaloid Extract as well as adding to it Cacao Nibs.

I don't know man, but I just opened and read this post, and out of my girlfriends mouth comes "there's this stuff called blue green algae I want to try" just as I'm reading it. Talk about synchronous.

You can easily make your own blue green algae with only a nutrients, a pump, water, sunshine, and a collection surface. There are a few videos out there that will teach you how if you are interested.

I thought blue-green algae was toxic. We get in the lakes and it's no good to swim in.

I'm very interested, can you link the videos here? Thanks.

Spirulina is a superfood made from blue green algae, there are a few different kinds of cyanobacteria that make up "blue green algae" some are indeed toxic but depending on the way you treat the water you can grow only the good kind. I believe once you have the correct type of algae you can simply pour the water through a screen to catch it and then dry it to be eaten or fed to fish or chickens. It is actually an amazing substance that shows great promise for feeding 3rd world countries.

These probably aren't the best videos but you can start here and get the basic idea. If you do find some better information please post it here, I have been interested in this for a while but haven't got around to trying it.
