Calculating Yield

Apologies if this has been answered before (and I know it has) but I just can't seem to find it.

Just wondering how to calculate freebase DMT yield into a percentage? Thanks.

Percent = ratio as a fraction of 100. In this case percent = ratio of DMT to MHRB as a fraction of 100

or

(DMT/MHRB)*100

So for a half pound extraction that yields 4 grams of DMT

%yield = (4/227)*100 = 1.76%

Oh wow I was going way too deep with it, I thought I had to find the molecular weight of DMT and all that jazz. Thanks! Don't I feel stupid
