I have been playing with Calea zacatechichi for the past 6 months but I have not been able to get any effects whatsoever. I suspect this might be due to my preparations and/or usage, so I would be more than interested to read how other people prepare and ingest it.
I should also note that I have a very high threshold with ingested entheogens in general. I usually have to ingest 3-5 more times the usual of tryptaminic preparations, whereas phenethylamines do virtually nothing to me. But things are fine when it comes to smoking e.g. tryptamines and salvinorin.
So, that's what I have tried so far with Calea:
1. Smoke up to 2 grams of leaves half an hour before going to sleep
2. Drink tea made with up to 10grams of leaves ~30min before sleep
3. Ingest (in capsules) up to 20grams of powdered Calea ~30min before going to sleep.
During these attempts I have been staying off alcohol and weed (I do not generally smoke weed)
