Cambodian Cubensis Grow Log

This morning I harvested 50g fresh/wet. I weighed them around 10-15 minutes after harvest.
I took the ones that were ready, and there's still lots that I left to do their thang.

These are the ones I am going to eat soon when I go exploring the forest
...About 8.3 semi wet grams. So I'm guessing around 1g or so. Should be good for a wee test run out in nature eh?

I still have LOTS of mushrooms left in this first flush of kit #1 (of 2) that have still a wee while left.
All in all I'm very pleased and can't wait to next pick some

and oden, ive not really updated this in quite a while.

kit#2 got lost to trichoderma. i guess i wasnt clean enough at some point. didnt get even one shroom out of it.
flush #2 of kit#1 never happened as i somehow managed to contam kit#1 with trich. i guess i didnt clean the area/room well enough.

im a bit miffed but not really as its part of the learning experience, and i got PLENTY of mush from kit#1 before it went to crap.
i decided to go with a precolonised mycelium/substrate block kit, just water and birth in the bag.
well it hasnt produced much, at all. and it is taking its sweet time.
im a bit miffed with THIS kit as its taking way too long to produce anything.
what i loved about the cambodian strain is its speed. fast as heck!
altho this kit of cambos is just like "whit? pish" :/

i think im gonna get a few more of the first kind of kits this summer and see how it goes.
what i have got so far from kit#3 (the one that came ready to water and birth) is about 6g dry, and in my stash i have around 8 - 8.8g dry.
ive not shroomed in over 2 months now, nor have i tripped (except for my own extracted spice! first extract, last saturday ).

my last proper trips were with 4-aco-dmt (psilacetin).
a lovely tryptamine that is very much like shrooms but way nicer in my opinion.
both are seperate substances and have their own qualitative features about them, however i prefer the psilacetin as it has NO negative or tense-muscle bodyload whatsoever, and its much more mellow.
the headspace is actually slower and more chilled. you actually feel urself in slow-mo so to speak.
also on the comeup you can feel it relaxing your body and mind before it fully hits you. and when it does, it is just soooo soooo comfy and cosy. epicness

It's good to grow mushrooms. My first one were also cambodian cubes. quite good but low yield due to contamn.
then I decided to try out different strains, the goal being to grow panealus cyanescens.
When you start to get it right you tend to have too much to knwo what to do with

FINALLY!!!
this kit is producing more at a better rate!
I harvested this big beauty this morning, it came in at about 17.5g fresh, equal to almost 2g dry, at around 1.5-1.7g dry. not bad for ONE shroom eh?

the ones ive been getting off this kit before this point have been all around the same weight. 6 shrooms before this coming to around 6-7g dry
all picked just after the veil breaks but before they go into spore production mode.
there's a lot coming out of the sides of the mycelium/substrate block/cake, as ive left the bag out of the box so the sides get light.
I'm just gonna lift the cake out the tub and harvest as needed, its not packed in tight and ive done it before with no damage to the cake

anyways, I'll update as it develops
