That young girl looks more fed up than high. I'd say its a "No"...to the question.
But I would accept that a super-sensitive mindset could find those beats "heavy going".

If you tell someone it will get them high, then you will probably at least make them think they're high.
If I tell someone I'm a hypnotist and then do some induction mumbo-jumbo, I can make them crawl around the floor pretending to be a dog.
People are suggestible.
However, will the beats have a neurological effect on the brain similar to receptor agonsim/antagonism? I doubt it.

Binaural beats have been an EXCELLENT meditation aid for me in the past. Certain BWGen presets were phenomenal, as well as many of the I-Doser tracks. Many of these were pivotal in bringing me closer to having out-of-body experiences.
They've been invaluable tools for me during my journey.
As far as them actually getting you HIGH? Not a chance.

For me binaural beats did nothing ever. BUT Isochronic Tones did something.

I tried the "alert" preset once...after a few minutes I had goosepimples all over and devinitly felt a change in my mindstate. I used headphones. Be sure to give it some time and listen a few minutes.

I fell asleep last night (5 AM 
) listening to the "deep sleep" preset. I'm not sure if it was just pure exhaustion, or if this really helped in getting my brainwaves down into the delta frequencies. This is a great resource, and I'll be doing more experimenting with it for sure.
