What tek's are not worth doing?

Can some tek's and impure extraction of NN-DMT cause brain damage?

If a tek is "absolutely" not "worth doing," then it wouldn't be shared here on the Nexus.

They were probably on the shroomery where this guy was ranting about impure DMT and he's an expert because he had a "QP" in a mason jar (Half of a pint jar full. Looked like maybe an ounce, that's a lot of DMT but yeah the guy is full of it. Nothing works the way he says)
He was going on about someone's DMT being less than 75% pure because of the presence of tan polymers doing a simple STB MHRB extraction. He couldn't provide a source for the contamination only that it was dirty and would cause brain damage, yada etc... Thank the Creator for the Nexus!
TLDR the Nexus is a wonderful place to learn about DMT, I cannot attest to other sources where drug dealer's opinions are held in regard.

Parading your "QP" of DMT on the shroomery is a sure sign of brain damage so who can say? Best ask said owner of the excessively red-flaggy jar which 'tek' he used, then avoid that.
The only thing I can think of is using a TEK for grass extraction because of gramine concerns (which may or may not be an issue).
Other than that, make sure solvent evaporates fully and follow the TEK to the letter (using grass a source would break this rule). Don't guess and if in doubt don't proceed, instead stop and ask.

I don't think it causes permanent damage but the shroomery can definitely cause a temporary loss of reason. It can be cured by closing the tab and visiting the nexus.
EDIT" There is exactly one thread in one sub I post in during one time of the year- the PNW actives thread. It isn't hard to tell which one is me. I got in a real s###storm of an argument with some people there by suggesting that they use the term "patch raid" instead of using "patch rape" for reasons I don't think I need to explain here. Thank Santa I don't have to explain it here... I mean, man, "patch raid" even rhymes and doesn't dilute a very serious word, I just cannot understand the resistance to just be careful with language and take into consideration the feelings of people who have been victimized in the worst way possible. I think what I experienced there then is called "moral dumbfounding". Man, the ignorant and hateful PMs I received from some senior members for making such a out-of-line comment made me so angry and sad I just had to leave the PNW thread that year. Couldn't agree more. I used to frequent it and have helped a lot of people but the place can be an extreme pit. You have to carefully sort any information there. People telling others that 60mg is a typical breakthrough dose for nn-?!? I mean not good advice to give a 'newbie' if they manage to choke 60mg vapor down they may never touch the stuff again, and when someone points out they may want to start with half to a third of that in the name of harm reduction they get blasted for debunking the 'dirty DMT' myth. What a mess. Meanwhile, I'm in love with this community.
Kit, to answer your question I know of the poster you're referring to, he can be crude at times but knows his stuff and seems to genuinely care about others enough to offer help. I've had a couple interactions with the guy and he's 'blunt' and 'coarse' but haven't really seen anything way off. I am not 'the Prof' though.
If that thread led you here that's awesome though, you're in the right place for the knowledge you seek without the drama of bickering egos.

Ah, alright T. Yeah, i dont have any hard feelings towards anyone in that thread. I feel like everyone was justified in their own way. However, the thread as a whole left a bad taste in my mouth, so yes, that is why i came here. Its definitely the right place, as you say.
