It's been over a year and the pink is starting to rot my mind.
The front page is still awesome as ever, but The nexus harbours many artists
who Im sure could compete for a bit of a showcase..

I like the current one as well - however I think it is a cool idea to have a vote on a new one if their are some artists here who want to donate their time
 
The only thing that really gets me about the current one is the way the proportions on the central jesters clowns/surrounding patterns is askew.... it's an amazing banner otherwise, though.
 
Yeah, the whole banner is a little stretched but I also find it a little 'in your face'
It's not bad though.

I would still really like a forum skin which actually removes the banner entirely
 
A breakthrough dose of DMT is a little "in your face," no? 😉

Too bad it's not shiny and holographic. 8)

It would be fun to see what other people would want to contribute for a banner!
 
Looks like it would be really tough to create one better then the one that is there now, it would be cool to see what some of you DMT influenced artists could come up with though.
 
If there can be made a better image then I'm always open for a new one.

But it must be REALLY good to surpass the current one and make me willing to change it!

I love the image that's there at the minute, but what would be great is if it could integrate more with the whole page. If the colours/patterns were integrated along the menu bars and general background of the page rather than it being an image plonked at the top of the page.
 
I be the bandannaed bandit that bans new banners and banish those bananas that bandy about and ban in bands with bandages our benevolent banners.

You can change the background in: my profile, edit profile, somewhere at the bottom of page.
 
Maybe, if possible, we could have a collection of banners? The current one is good, but maybe someone could fix up a way for a different banner to show at different times? We could really showcase the experiences of the community with eachothers artworks. I'd like to see what peoples imagination can bring up :)

I like the idea of a banner contest.
Rotating banners are cool too.
That way, you get a bit of freshness everytime.
