Cannabis Extraction - Aquireing THC from Plant material.

Does anyone here have any experience with this? Is it at all possible to do with a Soxhlet extractor? Are there any teks out there? What kinda yields do people get?

Pure THC, you'd need some chromatography. For a general extraction, you could use a soxhlet. I wouldn't recommend an alcohol, as they tend to pull too much nonactive gunk... Butane is the preferred choice of folks without soxhlets, who just rig up a copper pipe extraction tube.

the purify you need chromatographc as THC does not crystallize and well there are other components to deal with. I dont think this is in the appropriate section so maybe a mod should move it. but anyway making hash oil is simple as pie if you want details SWIM can describe.

If you want pure thc, get some bubble bags. You'll get numerous degrees of purities depending on the micron count of the bags. Any sort of solvent will get you hash oil which you can mix with straight kief and make some damn fine hash.
