"capping" ACRB + PHS

I'm very interested in this route of administration, as well as the things people have to say about it.

I'm interested in "capping" acacia confusa root bark and peganum harmala seeds, but first thought I would ask people who have done this before what their thoughts on it were.

Anything that you think may be considered helpful information regarding this topic would be much appreciated.

(I have been using these same plants in brew form for quite sometime, so I'm not new to the experience, I'm only new to this route of administration)

I wouldn't recommend it. Syrian rue seeds are hard as a rock and don't digest well. And I can imagine you'd need to eat quite a bit of acacia bark in order for it to work. It doesn't seem worth it at all since both of those can be brewed into an active tea very quickly. Or extracted and capped. Energy in...energy out

I'll second UC. Definitely not a way to go.

Even extracted stuff that's capped is significantly less effective if you dont riddle the caps with holes.

Why not just extract and dose if you're tired of teas?

That's an option as well, I was mostly just curious about a new and untried (for me) ROA, but was not seriously considering the venture any time soon.

Just for informational purposes I was hoping to obtain some reports, well, and out of curiosity as well, which was piqued after hearing an anecdotal report of a rather intense experience derived via this route of administration.

As for the seeds being rock hard, that's not an issue as everything would be blended into a fine powder in a coffee-grinder then placed in "00" gel-caps. Though they still may not be very easy to digest.

As for the amounts being large, yeah, your going to have to swallow a large amount of capsules.

As for it being ineffective, this is news to me, which is why I ask these questions, because I was told by a friend of a friend that he "capped" 3g PHS, waited 15 minutes, then swallowed 7g ACRB powder in caps, and then he said he had an experience more intense than any brew he had ever tried.

...but yeah, seeing as how I have not received much feedback in the area it leads me to believe that people just are not consuming these plants in this manor, and generally there's a reason behind it, if people are not doing it, it's probably an ineffective route or unpleasant route.

It's not that it wouldn't be effective. I've eaten rue seeds and it definitely worked, but the actives won't be fully/as easily absorbed compared to a tea or extracts. The come up time was much much longer for me that route, and for some it can cause stomach discomfort and worsen the nausea

ive used capped extracts a few times and it has worked well for me and a friend.

never tried capped plants though

Here's a report on this subject that was posted on reddit recently.

Quick report: Just finished another experiment last night. Probably won't be trying this way again, but thought I'd share. I've been really grateful to all who've contributed to this sub.

Preparations: 18hr fast, no caffeine.

16:30 - Took 5g ground Syrian Rue w/ Orange juice

17:30 - Started feeling the effects (much like cannabis, which was nice) Took 3.75g capsuled powdered ACRB.

17:40 - Took remaining 3.75g capsuled powdered ACRB.

18:15 - Started to feel slightly nauseous. Really neat tracers watching me move my hand around. Getting excited for blastoff.

18:30 - Extreme immediate nausea. Purged several times. Obviously capsules broke in my stomach over the last hour and the powder was very chalky/gritty in my throat and hard to clear. Not fun. Could not control at all. Luckily I had a trash bin right next to me as there was no way I could have made it to the bathroom.

18:40-21:45 - Extreme nausea, bad temperature regulation (would go from so hot I need to puke to shivering intensely over and over, so I could not relax), body aches, and dark introspection. No visuals or entities.

21:45 - Finally made myself get up and smoke a J. Helped a ton. Had a long conversation with my wife about my thoughts. Definitely helped my ability to communicate clearly.

22:30 - Still dizzy and feeling another introspective wave coming on, so I laid back down. Spent the rest of the night learning/feeling how narcissistic I had become. Could not get comfortable, and I have a nice bed.

Eventually fell asleep off and on around 1:30, but could not stay asleep for more than an hour or so. Was very uncomfortable. Really tired of kicking myself in the nuts the whole time, but like they say, "even when the trip's bad, its good." It was good for me to go through the self-realization but painful.

0/10 Would not recommend.
