i'm watching this thread like a hawk!!

dimitrius- how was the full spectrum chali fumarate? did you try it yet? maybe i'll just stop there and use this chali for pharma....i'd imagine ol 69ron would be behind that idea anyways, as he is strongly opposed to smoking 5meo. since i've never tried 5meo, this might be just the thing.....

no, i've not tried it yet. i've not even tried pharma yet.

but it looks beautiful. recrystallized the limo tainted fumarates in water so as to allow the limo to evaporate off, and wound up with some beautiful amber colored crystals.

edit - oh yeah, it can also be done with FASW to yield a sort of peanut brittle material. there was some mild emulsion from shaking up the limo & FASW in the separatory funnel, but it wasn't anything a bit of swirling and letting it sort itself out couldn't handle.

So I'm about to extract from some older chaliponga with the intent of infusing the freebase result into a leaf blend.

Like this: basify with lime > pull with limonene > precipitate with FASI > freebase the fumarates with lime...dry > then pull with dry IPA or acetone

Now I know it works up to the fumarate stage. I've done this to that point before. But what I'm wondering is if I freebase and pull with IPA or acetone, will the result be a 5-MeO-DMT/DMT mixture? Will the 5-MeO be pulled with these solvents?

And if one were to recrystallize with heptane...would the 5-MeO be soluble in heptane?....resulting in a cleaned up 5-MeO-DMT/DMT mixture?

So....went ahead with the above ^^ procedure....only instead of pulling from the dried paste with IPA or acetone, heptane was used.

Full-spectrum was desired, but a bunch of unknown brown stuff precipitated along with the fumarates...this was obviously to do with the old, low quality leaf....with high quality, fresh leaf, only beautiful fumarates precipitated....so, went with heptane.

Yielded a beautiful golden yellow chaliponga sacrament...it really looked nice ....subsequently infused into blue waterlily petals. Awaiting assay in the right moments.

Is 5-meo stable at high PH like DMT. Since snuffs are used with lime SWIM would assume it would be fine, though just to make sure... is it?
