I believe if children have this special connection at the very young age, it may be as hard to remember after years and years of 'real life' as some DMT trip or dream after the same time period.

I can remember a few bits of time when I was only a few years old, too. However, who can guarantee that the 'reality' as we see it now wasn't at least a bit different *at times*.
