I didn't quite catch what you meant by "surfing" the brink of orgasm?
Getting just about to the breaking point, but not allowing yourself to tip over the edge. This is generally done for very long periods of time, becoming more intense each time orgasm is "averted". I do this through breath, focus and muscular relaxation.. but there's a huge variety of techniques to do so scattered throughout history. The stimulation and added strength and coordination enable me to use my lower body muscles to shift my pelvis to a more healthy position and engage the muscles in my legs, ass and lower back. It's also a really fantastic exercise in focus and discipline that can
really enhance the use of the mind on a day-to-day basis.
And it makes one's penis larger and more firm and pelvic muscles far more robust and well toned... So it's really a win-win(win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win...) scenario.
I find it far easier to do alone for many reasons, but mostly because it's very unusual to see me adjust my spine and hips and many people find it frightening. If you've got a partner with parallel interests who is up to give it a shot though, by all means try it out. Most guys I've heard of find it easier to get started with masturbation and move on from there, since the company of another person almost always means more intense sensation and less control. Your partner will likely need to be in the know and willing to cooperate with you, but things become much easier as the energy builds and the process tends to "explain itself".
That's what's awesome about using sex as therapy or a yoga: We don't need anyone to teach it to us, we just need to pay attention to ourselves and our partner and amazing things happen.

My experience with LSD releasing those muscles pretty much required massage to be fully effective. Until those areas were touched and manipulated, it was just full of intense and fairly painful sensation. Once I started working the muscle out, structures I once thought to be bone turned out to be rock-hard muscle that gave way under my hands. It would have been mind-blowing without the LSD, for sure. If I had an hour with a skilled therapist that night, I would have got up an entirely new man.
This was on the come up of my first LSD trip (200-300ug), so its not as if it requires any long-term work. If you want to give it a shot, it would be as simple as planning your trip so that you can devote some time to your body, or receive some help from a bodyworker or therapist who is okay with weird shit. Just remember to take it slow and gentle and drink huge amounts of water. Major changes in the structure of the body can be really disorienting and tiring, and releasing those gnarly, locked up muscles can release huge amounts of toxins and lactic acid. My urine looked like tea the next day, no matter how much I drank.

It seems all my posts today come back to orgasm... maybe there's something on my mind?
