Ok, so maybe a question out of left-field but if someone had smoked DMT in a living space, naturally the vapors and smoke would leave a thin film of residue on every surface in that house, just as one would if they were smoking cigarettes or anything else. This left-behind residue would still be active and able to absorb through mucus membranes if you were to come in contact with it. Question is, is there any way to fully break down and remove all residual DMT and DMT-Oxide? Would running an ozone generator eventually break it down like it can cigarette smoke residue? Or would it just convert the DMT into some form of DMT-oxide which is still psychoactive? Are there any type of solvents or cleaners, say something like chlorine, that is known to destroy the compound? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could try running an ozone generator for a while but ozone will degrade a whole host of other materials, principally any organics with a double bond in the structure. You would have to ensure that no-one entered the space during the ozonation process either - ozone is highly toxic. Chlorination would be an even worse option.
I don't think anyone will ever have smoked enough DMT inefficiently enough that an active dose could be absorbed from ambient surface contamination. Just what exactly are you worrying about? Law enforcement?
