DMT Experience #4
3:30am March 31st Friday.
I sat on the front step of the Houzzle it was around one degree centigrade. It was a very still and calm-quiet night, finally beginning to feel like Spring. A fog had come in because of the nightly temperature drop and increase in relative humidity. Despite the cool weather I was wearing my purple adidas sweats and a grey billabong teeshirt. I nervously held the glass pipe in my hands wondering where I was off to next.
I took ten deep and slow purging breaths making sure to push my belly out and fully expand my diaphragm. I focused on a humbled and peaceful feeling in preparation for the spice as I took the ten breaths. When that was done I flicked the lighter and it lit as I took it towards the pipe bowl. The first hit I inhaled a long and steady breath. As I held it in, a familiar buzzing and warm vibration radiated into my brain and then crashed around my body like gentle waves had been splashed over me. I can clearly remember this nostalgic feeling it gave me, as if it was one of my first memories. It was embracing me lovingly as amniotic fluid does when you are safe and serene in the womb. I even felt the pressure of it surrounding me and heard the beat of a heart like a drum. It was a reminder that no matter what happens everything is going to be alright.
As I sat alone holding the first hit deep in my lungs the empty leafless branches of the tress in the street began to lengthen and twist in a sort of dancing, but predictable way. Shadowy figures resembling some sort of humanoid woodland entities began peeking out around the trees and bushes in the street. They were strange and curious, looking directly at me with their dark organic wooded faces and blackend eyes. I felt like I had gained their attentions but I was still feeling like they were too nervous to come out and show themselves to me. I realized I hadn't breathed out the smoke that still sat inside my lungs so I exhaled quickly squeezing my abs and chest hard until there was nothing more to expend.
I sparked the lighter once more and the bowl ignited as I pulled hard and steady feeling the flow of the energized smoke as it entered me and dissolved into every fibre in my body. I set the pipe and lighter down beside me and looked up once again.
The trees shook and rattled their branches, turning and contorting them, as if to happily dance that I could recognize their woodland entity counterparts. The grass on the ground began to grow like springy blades shooting upwards and unfurling as the creatures slowly came out towards me. The group of eight of them hovered in around me. I must of gained their confidence and trust because I could tell they were excited I had come to reveal myself to them. My body felt like it was hanging in midair the ground was no longer below me. I saw and felt the creatures long grey nimble fingers reaching out and into my head simultaneously as my body liquified and my consciousness was infinitely folded and then shattered into pieces and absorbed into the creatures. I felt like my consciousness had entered the bodies of my new friends and I was sharing their experience of existence. I could now see through all of their eight pairs of alien eyes. There were bluish and greenish waves in a vast near infinite range of colors and hues I had never experienced before. The visible waves of energy bounced off everything outside around us giving us a consistent and constant 3D map of our surroundings. It felt like we had such a good sense of the surroundings that we were the surroundings itself. It was like our eyes could all see in space and time tangibly, interpreting every detail of everything around us and processing it all instantaneously. These entities that shared their perceptions with me were clearly superior to humans in every regard, yet they seemed to have an infinite love for us and everything else that existed.
Then I, or rather we, all closed our eyes and I could understand and experience distant Genetic memories of these creatures. They were on some sort of biological craft chemically carved out of inorganic crystals and organic matter. But their memories weren't in their own bodies they were as best as I can describe it some very simplified cells of life. There were these crystals containing this organic matter being shot around the universe like intergalactic spore being spread and cultivated in the solar winds. They were being sent to every possible place that would inhabit life some day. In these memories Time did not exist, only the memories themselves. I felt so strange like these entities were once our past and our present, and now they were our future.
It's hard to say how long I was there because the memories were arranged in such a weird and familiar way, spiraling together like those models of DNA strands. It was like the DNA contained all the collective memories of the ancestors before it. I don't know how exactly how it happened but the next thing I knew I was opening my own eyes and looking up at the stars. I sat up quickly and saw my woodland entity friends returning to their trees and shadows. I thought clearly in my mind "Please don't go just stay a bit longer with me, I love you all so much!" This made them all simultaneously stop and look back at me with their jet black eyes which startled me at first, I could understand they didn't want to go either but they had too.
With that they turned and faded back into the trees and shadows. I still felt the warm glow from the former dissolution of reality that was rippling outward back into the Earth with an ever fading energy from the journey.
The whole experience all felt way more real than the life of which I've lived 30 years.
I thought to myself, "Is this where knowledge comes from? From the secrets and whispers of ancient beings communicating to you when the mind is truly awakened?"
Who knows what the answer is but regardless it's probably the most amazing thing I've ever experienced in my life...
I think there's a lot more to life than we know. And what we know is infinitely nothing more than what there is to know.
