That white stuff is normal and I get it too, some have speculated it to be NMT. It's good to vaporize it, I have once tried it plain and it was nice.

Do you have cats? I've had that happen and it ended up being a cat hair. Another time it was a very fine strand of some sort of what I assume to be a synthetic fibre that ended up being a convenient anchor for the growing crystals. It wasn't a problem. I just knocked the crystals off of the fibre/hair after drying.
There are all kinds of things floating around in the air in houses. It's easy to get things in your solvent.

I don't think it has anything to do with hairs in solvent. The stuff precipitates like hard liquid, not crystals at all, and it comes almost always with the pulls, sometimes it's on the edges of the area that is covered with crystals. I have started a thread on this matter before and nobody knows for sure.

The stuff might get yellow after it's scraped up, but I assure you it's good to smoke and has slightly unique effects.
