crazy idea - Food coloring?

Migrated topic.

So this idea is pretty crazy. I was wondering if it was possible to add food coloring to spice and evap it to stain the spice that color? I seen Capt Hyperspaces Blue spice, it's like BLUE TIBERIUM! . I cannot help but want blue or green spice because I am a big fan of the Command and Conquer universe! Just need them to be nice dark blue.

So would adding food coloring to spice, then evap, leave the spice stained the color used? More importantly. Would it be bad to smoke food color stained spice? I mean its safe to eat, so should be safe to vaporize!

Sorry if this idea seems really "out there", but I am just a crazy fan!

Somewhere in this Forum I read that someone Suggests doing this with Alcoholic Flower Petal Extracts.
For blue you could use Blue Lotus Flower Petals for example.

I think he also Made Green Spice with Mary Jane Extract.

Opium Poppies come in lots of different Colours !

In the UK it can be considered an offensive way to refer to the disabled[2], while in the US it is more closely associated with hyperactivity or clumsiness and carries few offensive connotations. In India the word spastic is used without negative connotations, with The Spastics Society of India being India’s most noted non-profit and a non-governmental organization (NGO), working for Neuro-Muscular and Developmental Disabilities.

I will have to give this idea a go! Also I edited out potential offensive words 😉 .

Oh my! I was thinking about this same thing a while ago, so it DOES work? Freaking awesome. I'm also a C&C fan, although I sadly cannot say that the crystals immediately reminded me of tiberium - I didn't even need a picture to put the two together tho...ah C&C!

I am not sure if it works. I was thinking just dissolving the spice in blue food coloring, then evaporate again. I wonder what residue would be left? What IS food coloring made out of anyway?

1st thing I thought of when I seen the blue crystals was that it was a Blue Tiberium field, ready to be harvested! Could relate the crystals more to CNC3.

I don't think its a crazy idea at all, Ive been wanting to try this for some time now and ill definitely be giving it a go soon. Its a really lovely way to add a dash of creativity to the spice. Happy coloring. :d

Much Peace

Use some sort of extract from flower (blue lotus for example) for dying purposes, just remember that it has to be soluble in the same solvent as DMT if you want an even colour distribution!
I can't see any harm in using an extract from a flower people smoke anyway, but since we don't know what food colouring is made of, one should probably avoid those. Just because they are safe to ingest, there's nothing that says that the same should be true for vaporized material into the lungs. (Although, I'm extremely certain this is the case)
Anyway, happy colouring and don't forget the camera! 😉

Here's one for ya, instead of just using any old blue dye, seek out true INDIGO dye ;).

Indigo is basically a dimer of the oxidation product of indole - it is a bluish purplish greenish color, similar to the color that you see psilocybe mushrooms bruise. It's also used to dye jeans. One can obtain indole from indigo with effort but that's a different topic.

And indole is of course the base compound that DMT is made from :)

FD&C Blue #2 is indigotine, which is a similar compound and is probably easy to obtain. However, if the spice is for smoking purposes true indigo may actually work out better.

As far as not knowing what food colorings are made of, just look it up...all coloring products should state the name of the dyes used and one can find out the composition with a quick google search.

Some great suggestions. Will follow through when the time comes. I am thinking, using food coloring will be fine if one is to ingest there spice. But smoking is a different matter I guess.

now, with the original idea, is there any reason just adding food coloring and water/naphtha to the crystals and re-evaporating won't work? i wouldn't think any harm could come of vaporizing a little food coloring. you can cook it, and there are no warnings of inhaling fumes. i'm with you on this one drake. i'd love to have a little rainbow pack of crystals.
