Will be performing my first extract shortly but have a few questions. I'm.certain I will use one of cybs teks to do this. I'm curious about the stated yields though.
I've noticed most other teks state about a .5 yield. Cybs max ion says a theoretical 3 percent and the other salt tek states 2 percent. The salt ten says that from 50g mhrb yield of one gram can be expected and actually shows with pictures that 50 yielded .8 after only three pulls.
I know this all has to do with the alkaloid content of bark you have but does the teks cyb wrote truly produce that much more superior yield then say vovin or marosfold which state only .5. Marosfold specifically states a yield of 2.5g out of a pound of bark can be expected.
I'm also curious as to whether its better to do multiple 50gram extracts or one big one? I've searched the forums here and have found conflicting info. In one place I read doing it in smaller batches is better and in another place a thread states that a larger extract makes for more saturation and better yields.
