Does a dab rig with water dilute the DMT vapor as the vapor passes thru the water? Seems like it would. Or is a dab rig used dry without water for DMT vaping?

Assuming you're referring to freebase N,N-DMT, no, water will not dilute it, as this form of DMT is non-polar, and as such, is water-insoluble. On the other hand, salt forms of DMT, such as DMT Fumarate, are water-soluble.

The water may trap a little of the DMT vapour/aerosol, but this is still recoverable.
