Hey!

I will provide you with some interesting threads here on the nexus that exlpain the general idea behind A/B extractions.

To answear you question first: YES! :lol: Generally teks arent different between MHRB and ACRB or any other plant material, the only difference is from additional steps (like defating, which is removing plant fats/oils so you get crystals instead of waxy/oily DMT) ACRB generally contains more fats/oils than MHRB thats why when using ACRB teks incluce defat.
Other variations between different teks are: NaCL salting, mini A/Bs, backsalting, sodium bi/carb wash, evap vs freeze percip..etc.

Most teks are based on the Acid/Base extraction process, so before choosing any tek i suggest you learn basic chemistry its really fun acutally.

Had an interesting experience yesterday.

The entity was back but in the middle between her former light, and dark self.
What she seemed to be making clear is that the dark is also part of the experience, and that I did fine by embracing it.

It did have me worried for a little bit, especially when it happened twice in a row.
However, these things are so much more complex than what we can express. To embrace the darkness and the light of the DMT experience mirrors embracing the dark side of one self, and to come to terms with it.

So fascinating.

What is wrong with using DMT in a recreational manner, or any psychedelic for that matter? Is it wrong to have fun? I mean, psychedelics are pretty whacky to begin with so I think it is a bit presumptuous to say that DMT can/should only be used "this way" or "that way." There really is no rule book. As long as one approaches the molecule with respect, who has the right to say how it should be used beyond that? Who draws that line for everyone else?

In my experience, it is a powerful, unpredictable substance that tends to have a self-correcting effect on people. Abuse or careless neglect often leads to terrifying hyperslaps, which generally act as a bit of a wake up call for the user. Happened to me many times before I quit drinking alcohol (with the help of DMT, btw).

My point is this: there is a time and place for all approaches. Recreational use does not automatically equal abuse and the spiritual/improve yourself approach doesn't automatically bring about change, enlightenment, or anything special. They all require additional work from the user before any real magic happens. Sometimes having fun is all one needs. Sometimes a deeper approach is warranted. Both are equally valid and should be explored, in my humble opinion.

I remember a group of people was saying that DMT oxide was responsible for some peoples dark trips, and that could be the reason in this case because of direct flame? What was the source (whcih plant rb) the DMT was extracted from, could it be trace amounts of 5-meo-dmt?

Once again excuse me about my earlier comment JKW, it was inappropriate and rude, if you want i can remove it. But this is part of why i love the Nexus, because when i write some bullshit, i got my bullshit detectors here and they (you Nexians) will always tell me when im wrong, so thank you!

And the ongoing saga of darkness continues...

Today the trip started dark, grey, monotone. An entity appeared, but she was ugly and drab. However, I thanked her for coming, and kept speaking to her all the while. Eventually I told her she was beautiful, and suddenly she turned beautiful, and the visions became colorful and beautiful. I was able to turn a dark trip around, just by talking to the dark entity.

I used a dab rig and heated the banger not enough, crystal melted (40mg) but barely got vapor, waited 15 min and added 40 more mg after heating the banger to red hot... so yes I burned the spice and on top of that 40 plus 40... near an 80mg vape with oxide accompanying it...

my very first trip was all black and grey, I met my first entity as well, the ominous grey-black alien figure with very long spindly fingers, it appeared directly in front of me and floated off to my peripheral vision on my upper left, shook it's head at me and started fiddling with some type of key board. When it appeared it tapped my forehead with it's finger.

I've read many times of people turning a bad or potentially bad trip into a good and beautiful one with positive thoughts... I think it's of the best advice to remember this always,

set and setting is everything but keeping that positive mindset through the anxiety and into the trip is what will bring you good results majority of the time.
