DCM pull in final stages. evap, freeze, distill? help

When using DCM instead of naptha for the post-basification/elf spice migration into solvent step...

once that is complete and you have spice in dcm alone, what is the best way to proceed?

does it act in a similar way to naphta if you were to freeze precipitate?

is it better to let it evap?

could one distill off the dcm and gather what's left? i hear spice melts around 44-46, around there, and dcm boils around 40...

if one kept the temp below boiling technically the spice would remain solid, and the dcm would leave?

any tips would be appreciated, as i see the info on dcm pulls only goes so far

I think DMT is too soluble to effectively FP in DCM. Maybe if you reduced it to the saturation point you'd be able to get some crystals that way...

If I were SWIM, I would distill most of the volume, then evap the rest and redissolve in Naptha for a freeze precip. Don't try and evap it completely thru distillation - I think it might oxidize it or something. It's alright to have a little DCM mixed in with the naptha when you FP.
