Hello Everyone!
Came across this forum when researching my first mimosa extraction. All the detailed info on these forums was super helpful, so thanks for that! I ended up with some nice beige crystals using cyb's tek which I have just started dipping my toes into.
I was impressed at the depth of knowledge and how civilized & positive this forum generally is. Big change of pace from some of the stuff I've seen on drug subreddits. What I find most exciting is how this forum has highlighted how much more there is to learn on the front of psychoactive plants, it has sparked me reading on many plants I never even knew existed. I find my interest both into exploring the effects of these psychoactive plants as well as the chemistry and botany behind it all increasing continuously.
Previously I had some experience with psilocybin and mescaline. More recently I have done two small sub-breakthrough trips on DMT. These have really highlighted how much farther I can go with hallucinogens, I thought my mescaline trip was strong but the pull and energy from DMT really seems like another animal. I'm excited and a bit tentative to go further and have that breakthrough trip, although I am in no rush to do so.
I want to become a full member for a couple reasons. Firstly I think embracing hallucinogens as a society rather than demonizing them could be hugely beneficial, and I think to be a part of this change it is important to be active in communities like these. Secondly so I can contribute my knowledge and experience with others.
So far I have written journal entries for all of my psychedelic trips. Personally I find it helps me retain information from trips to further integrate it into my life. I plan to share some of this on the forum so others can read it, either for their enjoyment or to compare experiences. I hope I can inspire other people to write about their experiences as well, I really think it can help you gain more from your trips.
I also want to contribute to all the knowledge gathered on these forums. I think it's amazing and exciting how much more we have to learn about all these plants. Today I found some interesting books at a library on hallucinogens & narcotic plants. These touch on quite a few of the plants requested in the collaborative research project. When I have a bit more time (likely this weekend) I'll start relaying some of the information I have found over there. It's great that new members can post over there too!
Thanks for reading,
Cheers!
