I was going to mix the DMT with acidic solution to convert to salt and then use naptha to absorb the fats. Then separate and take the aqueous acidic solution containing the DMT in salt form and convert it to base. Then use naptha to extract back.    Isn't that what a acid defat is all about?    Why doesn't that make sense? What am I doing wrong here?
