Delosperma Extraction - Looking good.

Migrated topic.
idk man - i too concerned about my health to start eating random xtal combinations.
there are the fumarates still on the plate from the rescue operation - they seem to be oxidizing ??? changing orange ????

swim has a very nice quantity of fresh delsperma to work with..when is the time to picks it? i guess in wineter but im not sure. also what is the exactly tek to follow phlux? i'd use a normal a/b extraction if i've not tips for it..

i also have not any litmus paper for pH control, so is pH 1 of muriatic acid harmful for dmt? i was thinking to use 1 teaspoon of it for every liter of water i'll use..i think i can get 5-10% hcl.

any tip would be aprreciated!

have u bioassayed it? what was the yield? thank you for all..! :!: :)

That is incredible how those crystals grow in similar fashion to the way the plant grows!
Must grow me some crystal plants one day. Thanks Phlux, for posting all this great info!!

Not asking for a bio, but maybe a chromatography is in order. Unless you already know.

i'd like to try with fasa too..only tried an a/b extraction and i failed hard :S phlux, have u tried theese fumarates?

I have attempted delosperma extractions dozens of times, often with rather large amounts of material, not only did I never get any DMT or 5-MeoDMT, when I defatted I got nothing, while when I did not I got an oil residue with mild mesembrine like activity that may have had hordenine in it as well.

I hesitate to say delosperma is a dead end, but there is something incredibly tricky about this genus.

Also, defatting is associated with decreased yield of several alkaloids.
I do not want to dig through the literature to demonstrate this, but maybe I will get around to it.

Oxides also stay in solution more than their counterparts, there is something making this genus frustratingly difficult to work with.

Hey Phlux, Not sure if you've been asked lately or if the situation changed. But did you ever have any luck with the finished product?

i have what i think is a great deal of said genus readily available. Ill take pictures and post em just to verify the identification but if its as difficult as it seems, im wondering if its worth the effort.

From What Ive read i can wait till about summer, or up until, but my 2nd question is:
If the structure changes (5-meo to n,n) would time of harvest matter to a point where a diff tek is in serious consideration?
