Did I breakthrough?

Rising Star
I have just done DMT for the third time…first and second being 7/8 years ago.

My first two experiences with DMT were very mushroom like although more intense, very strong visuals with my eyes open. With my eyes shut the first time I sore colours that seemed as though they were alive, moving around. Quite similar to what’s shown in the movie “Enter the void” in the DMT smoking scene and also there was a moment where I could see a pyramid, although no entities and no feeling of being sucked from this dimension. I’ll also add to that on both of those occasions me and my peers were all first timers and didn’t really have a clue what we were doing (not to say I really do now!) we smoked the dmt on a makeshift bottle bong and didn’t have any idea about not burning the dmt with fire and so on and so forth.

Now skip forward to about twenty minutes ago. I came into the possession of around 2g of NN DMT about a week ago. I did a little research and decided to get a Yocan orbit to use as my way of taking it.

Me and a friend had 3 turns each with around 40/50mg in the vape. The first go I had was also the first time using the new vape so I kind of messed it up a bit. However, the second and third were very much different.

I’m sure everyone who reads this will know I have no possible way of describing everything I just experienced as it is just to complex and otherworldly. But I just don’t know if I can honestly say whether I had a breakthrough or not. I can’t tell you I felt as though I was pulled into another dimension. But I can’t tell say that with my eyes open it was like looking into a world through the eyes of a kaleidoscope made up of cartoon shapes rather than colours. And when giving in to the urge of lying back and closing my eyes I was in a world that I can’t really explain other than it being so beautiful and there was a blue lady with long arms and she moved her arms around as though she was underwater. It really was breathtaking to say the least.

But still that being said I can’t help but feel that there is maybe a little further I could have gone on this journey. I can’t say I received any messages or felt like I was being communicated with and I also I very much still felt present in the room and in my body only there was another world to see with my eyes closed.

I dont feel disappointed with my experience. However I do believe I went into it with the right reasons and not just to trip and have a giggle. I think that’s the reason it’s left me feeling like I need to know is there more? A good friend who’s been intrigued by DMT for a long time wants to come and visit next week so I think that’s when I’ll go again.

But until then if anybody could shed any light on this I’d be so happy to hear what you have to say!

Apologies for any bad grammar I’m useless with it!

For me, a breakthrough is a full immersion to the point where my awareness is completely disconnected from my body. It's qualitatively an entire step beyond the contents of a sub-breakthrough. It's as if the anchor of your embodied life becomes so imperceptible, you might as well have existed in this dimensional hyperspace for all eternity, all while lacking the awareness of ever having been a human at all. And upon return, the old adage applies: you'll know when you've had a breakthrough. There's a booming intuition that something else entirely just occurred.

But that's just me; I couldn't say whether it's the same for everyone.

I would echo what's said above. I dont even know if I have had a breakthrough. If having my consciousness deleted and waking up in the womb of a giant biological creature with no memories counts then yes. If being in an impossible geometric chaos realm counts then yes. If having mischivevious entities smash me physically in the face with spherical rubix puzzles while wandering an endless black and white checker board counts, then yes.

But I try to disassociate myself with terms like breakthrough or waiting room. In truth I wish I had never read about them.

DMT does not need prior knowledge or preconceptions to do her magic.

Some of those sound very breakthrough-ish, but I totally take your point. The DMT experience itself clearly transcends common attempts at categorization, which is probably why there are so many threads with people asking if they broke through.

There may be some nuggets of insight for you in this thread. It's up to you to decide in the end.

One love

I love the responses! Mine is just for fun.. blame it on the weed.

I disappear for eons and when I come back say something along the line of:

What in the hell are these things? (Staring at my hands)
I'm a human?
Holy Crap!
What year is it?
WTF just happened?
and then I usually continue to say WTF for the next hour.

bReAk = shatter, destroy, splinter, crush, implode, detonate, disrupt
ThRoUgH = in the thick of, amid, between, among

Were you in the thick of being disrupted? Among the crushed? Splintered between worlds? Maybe amid the destruction of any idea you had about reality?

I say you leveled up! Congrats!
