Dimensional elevator

I found this thing, a place. You sorta pull back the sheets in hyperspace and underneath is a control panel which looks like an inverted club with three eyes, one on each round portion of the club. The bottom eye rotated, and hyperspace seemed to open up in layers like a bridge when it lifts and i went upwards. Pretty fast too. Saw a huge silhouette of a head against the bright light emanating from hyperspace.

Was this the dimensional elevator?

The description suggests it can fit under the elevator umbrella term.
They and many things such as the hyperspace door are of infinite types each in a unique arrangement of hyperspace fabric.
In some cases the outlining structure is similar but the wallpaper and contents are always different.

It's certainly possible to "break in" to certain parts of hyperspace that is kind of clear that you're not intended to see. If hyperspace were a merry go round, then it would have a central pillar with fancy arches and mirrors to prevent you from seeing the mechanical gears moving ever mechanically to create the feeling of fluid motion - up down and around - to the observer on the horse. If however you managed to dismount and peak a glimpse behind those mirrors, you'd see that the fluid motion is all being perpetuated by intricate, choppy mechanics. Sometimes you can see some of the behind-the-scenes kinds of things when a sudden noise or distraction "knocks the train off the rail" a little bit, or other spontaneous hiccups in the experience.

Thanks for the replies, it was starting to get a bit lonely in here.

Ive had many discussions about the Torus with friends on other forums, it is the shape of the universe, and the galaxy, and also the apple. A very important form. Being very interested in witchcraft, you could even say a witch, although it's a derogatory word. I do feel there is much greater significance to these shapes than just the math. Still very much a mystery to me though i can see patterns.

Seeing the control panel was the first time I'd seen platonic solids in hyperspace. It looked like i was supposed to touch it, but i did get the feeling i wasn't supposed to find it. The whirling carnival has this strange feeling of death to it, there's something quite morbid about it, i could almost smell camphor in there. The area i found the control panel was much more serene and calm. It was as if it was behind the scene.
