DMT and Time Distortion?

Migrated topic.

A few years ago I met someone who said that they had lived several lifetimes in the DMT realm. I'm wondering if anyone here can corroborate this sort of time distortion or if they know of any validity to this suggestion.

Thank you, for any info.

hmmm. I'm sure that you will get plenty of feedback in this thread, but some might say that DMT helps one realize that time is somewhat of an illusion.

Sounds like somebody waxing poetic about time distortion.
A metaphor...

Unless...
Did he have a long white beard?
If he did, maybe he was telling you the truth...

No it wasn't a metaphore he said clearly that he had actually experienced several lifetimes in the DMT realm for 70 years or so at a time.

He could be lying of course. He didn't have the long white beard.

SWIM has spent years there actually..on one trip he was gone for about two years...another time the whole life time..he had a family..everything..and then he woke up here..

yo this one time (swim) got really high, way to much way to fast.
time stoped for him @11:47pm "The End Of The Day" and he heard "the truth" but tryed not to acsept it and he stayed there for a very very long time.
untill he acsepted "the truth" and his "eturnal mortality" not just human mortality.
then he awoke>11:48pm

i dont know if that helps or if anyone understands cuz if ya don't know ya just don't know:!:

These are truly incredible claims. It reminds me of a Star Trek episode in which Picard lives an entire life, grows old, has grandchildren etc. and then returns to the ship where only little time has passed..

DMT might be so powerful that this is possible. Or rather: DMT in itself has no power, but the multiverse of consciousness is so vast and hypercomplex that anything can happen.
So, how to tell if we aren't in a trip right now? Is this life here one big 'trip' (not that it would make any less real)?

Care to elaborate a bit about your experiences Jorkest? Did you sleep or dream there, or even smoke DMT?
Ah more questions, sorry... if looking for answers, avoid DMT because each step ahead only causes an avalanche of new questions ;)

it was with DMT..it was one of the coolest trips hes had..the clearest..LONGEST..but in this reality it only lasted 3 minutes..but there...working with those beings he was with..was at least 2 years...and the times with his family..was like..when he got there...a lifetimes worth of memories exploded into his head..so in a way it really felt like a lifetime..strange stuff this dmt you talk about

SWIM has been an infant in a stroller being pushed by his "parents" through an alien city.....we were all out for the day....and it was a day....an entire, undeniable, unequivocal, no-shit DAY. when SWIM came back to THIS particular reality he was rattled by how long and how real his sojourn was.....it was the first time he absolutely COULD NOT believe he was only "gone" for 7 minutes.....it still is beyond the scope of his tiny meat-brain comprehension....

....the spice is a righteous, powerful sacrament. never underestimate it's power....

LOVE AND GRATITUDE!!

That episode is called "The Inner Life" and is undoubtedly my all time favorite Star Trek episode. Now that I've smoked DMT, the experience is very similar to what Picard expreienced. I haven't learned any instruments form DMT though :(

This thread makes me think I'll wake up and realize this has all been a dmt trip.

Buddhist monks train to exist in a state of constant awakening.
