DMT as first psychedelic?

Thanks for all the replies everyone,
i might try shrooms first, il wait and see what happens.

But when i do try DMT to do a low dose of 5,10 or 15 mg would it be best to load that much in and take 3 hits to get it all? or to only take 1 hit?
im going to be useing a normal vapor genie by the way

Take it in baby steps is my recommendation.

If you are using a Vapor Genie it will naturally go in one go (if you are using it right, it does take some work to get a good technique). The whole multiple hits thing is only really applicable with less efficient tools.

DMT was SWIM's first psychadelic experience.

It was also SWIM's first experience extracting a substance himself.

SWIM treated DMT like the big deal that it was. LSD came after and SWIM didn't feel like DMT prepared him for that experience at all. All these substances are unique. I don't believe in a "learning curve" for these things the way some people do.

If something is drawing you to DMT, you've done the research, you are not suffering from anguish, grief, or mental illness at this time and think you're ready to take the leap, I say go for it.

I think DMT as a first psychedelic is a good thing to say the least. It's like comparing apples and sneakers ( 2 completely diffrent things) but it doesn't last as long as cid (8-12 hrs) or mush (4-8) so good luck and good trip but IMO don't pussy foot around using these substances jump all the way in head first !!! There's really nothing to be scared of and I find reminding yourself that your on something and everythings gonna be OK is like an anchor once the waves are getting to big and ruff

My first experience with anything was an oral dose of dmt that put me out for somewhere around 3.5 hours. Of course its just my opinion but I don't think there is anything wrong with going all in for your first time.

Oh it works like a charm. In fact I found Joints a much more effective & fail-proof
way of breaking through than the glass evaporising pipes (the typical freebase-pipe).
The only downside is that because some DMT get's burned it is somewhat wastefull.

But in return for having to dose a joint with a little more DMT than you wish to smoalk,
you get much greater control over the depth/intensity of the experience: 1 toke; minimal effects, 2 tokes; slight stupification, slight changing of visual perception, 3 tokes;
hypnotic state, pronounced visuals, 4 tokes; Deep Hypnotic trance, overwhelming visuals,
impaired balance & motor skills, deep phantasms(visuals develop into dreamlike storyline)...etc. It's like a dimswitch, finetuning the experience.

With Joints I have allways achieved breakthroughs whenever I tried, whereas vaporising DMT
in a freebase pipe often misfired or dosed very inaccurately/inconsistently.

I would personally recommend trying one hit of LSD before mushrooms as LSD has a roller coaster affect and you have seemingly more controll, but with mushrooms you have a straight to you peak trip with much less control and much less clearheaded ness than LSD, on mushrooms your almost like being drunk and tripping . Mushrooms are also a very fun experience I just wouldn't recommend to the first time tripper

I have given DMT to a couple of people with no prior experience on psychedelics. My girlfriend first, I was a bit put off by giving it to her and asked some Nexians who encouraged me to do so. It went great for her, she came back with joyful tears in her eyes. At the time she felt atheistic spiritually but since she tried the spice that blew out the window for her. Then her friend she went to highschool with became our roommate and he was curious, so I figured what the hey, it also went exellent for him and they both love spice and changa.

Since then they both tried LSD, only problem is for my girl the spice spoiled her and the Blotter didnt take her as far as she hoped. Im sure she will see what lsd can truly do for us one day though.

Just start low and build up to it, say a prayer or meditate or whatever suits to ground you and clear your mind.

I think that part of the power of a psychedelic is its ability to produce a sense of awe. I remember reading about a Soviet scientist who wanted to try LSD but couldn't due to cold war paranoia at the time. So he made his own DMT and I.M.ed it if I remember correctly. Anyways, by the time he defected and got to try LSD, he had developed a taste for the DMT and said that LSD took too long to get to the point.

DMT is kind of scary. That's part of the point. Just do it. The 1st time I took LSD, I took about 500ug. Psychedelics need to be consumed at a full dose. Anything less is a waste of time and resources.
