DMT citrate questions?

Migrated topic.
SWIM Is trying to seperate 5-MeO-DMT citrate from the full alkaloid citrate. Basicly the Tek used is the sodium calcium/d-Limonene then used a citric acid solution. What was produced is a sticky sugary looking product. Full spectrum DMT citrate?

To separate the 5-MeO-DMT disolve in acetone and it should salt out. The DMT should dissolve in the acetone.

Is that correct?

With the remaining acetone what can be done? Dried, will the acetone leave a residue?

Can the DMT be separated from the citrate?

yeah brotha... I think you have gotten some stuff mixed up.

No 5-meo in mimosa. What you've got is n,n and some other goodies we mostly just call jungle.

Do you want to vaporize and or smoke this spice? If so, you should freebase it. I would use sodium carbonate solution....if I did that sort of thing.

For clean-ish n,n

Dissolve your citrate in water

Dissolve some sodium carbonate (you can make this from baking soda) in some other water

Mix the two solutions.

Now freebased, the alkaloids are not soluble in water anymore. They will mostly float on top in a orangey yellow brownish layer. (you could mix the two solutions slower and get xtals to form if you like that sort of thing)

Anyhow... that layer on top is most of the goodies full spectrum. If you just want the n,n - - add a bit of naptha or hot heptane to pick it up. (don't use allot..or you won't be able to freeze precip)

Swirl it around plenty and gently

Decant off your solvent and put it in the freezer - - white xtal clumps should form overnight, but its best to let it go a few days.

I don't know the specific ph. Just saturate some water with sodium carbonate and add a fair bit. There are more detailed descriptions of everything you want to know on the nexus wiki.

Keep adding sodium carb to the water until it stops dissolving any more. Pour the water through a cotton ball filter to remove the chunks of sodium carb that did not dissolve.

BTW. This is a good way to test that you made good sodium carb. Baking soda that doesn't dissolve will lay on the bottom of the glass like powder. Sodium carb will chunk up.

There are awesome write ups for all this stuff on the wiki.
