Hey guys. I'm a newbie to DMT, but definitely not to psychedelics. I've been intrigued by DMT (Whether it be freebase, Changa or Ayahuasca) for a long while.

[MOD EDIT: No discussion is allowed about selling drugs, buying drugs, procuring drugs, prices of drugs, trading drugs and trafficking of drugs. Please read the Attitude link above.]

So, I want to get some plant matter and make myself some Changa.

Is there any way to make Changa, without first having to do a DMT-containing-plant to crystal extraction? Thanks.

I suppose there is, but I wouldn't call it changa. It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the herbs you are going to use. However, the ultimate goal is to pick herbs that bring out personal synergies between you and your spice. Trying to create an effective changa is like taking shots in the dark without spice.

No, I do believe you will need to first do a DMT-containing-plant extraction to make a batch of changa.

A required ingredient for changa is Freebase DMT which would need to first be isolated from the other alkaloids in the plant via extraction. Without isolating the DMT and extracting as Freebase you may as well just be smoking the powdered plant matter, which is ineffective and likely unpleasant.

If possible in some extraction teks you may be able to skip the final freebase crystallization step and go straight to dissolving the not-yet-crystallized freebase DMT into MAOI-containing-herbs. However, my reference point for this is the BLAB tek which would mean you still need to precipitate (salt?) out DMT Fumarate (generally for oral administration) from the D-Limo and would only be skipping the final step of a DMT Fumarate-to-Freebase conversion (which is essentially post-extraction).
Honestly, extraction teks aren't as difficult as they may appear at first glance. Fairly basic chemistry that can be done with readily available solvents, etc. Give it a go and you won't be disappointed. Just do a bit of research until you feel comfortable, if you have any questions you can always refer to the FAQ/Wiki/Search/or the DMT Nexus Community you're now a part of.

Welcome :) Introduction Essays are great as well for letting us all get to know you and you're psychedelic history a bit better. Hope to see you around.
