DMT lost potency in e-liquid?

Hey everyone!

This is my first post here but I've been lurking for a while :twisted:
I am wondering if anyone ever experienced a loss in potency when storing dmt dissolved in e-liquid. I prepared 1.5g of dmt in around 3-4 ml liquid in August 2020 and wanted to dab into hyperspace again lately but the solution does not seem to produce effects at all anymore. Can the dmt get destroyed in the VG/PG juice after a while? The juice contained no nicotine. I stored it in the small plastic bottle where the e-liquid is sold in - might this be the issue?

Would be great to know because I was quite confused the first few times I tried to hit the vape and nothing happened. I didn't even use much of the juice, so around 1g of freebase is lost...

In my experience dmt keeps it strength in vg/pg mix if stored in a dark and cool place, cap on.
Did it ever work for you, when the mix was newly mixed? Did you test the dmt before you mixed it with e-juice?
What kind of e-cig gear do you use? Those cbd carts will need a lot of puffs for you to break through.
How much VG and PG in the e-juice? If you have 70%vg, 30pg juice, you will have trouble, the e-juice will get to thick for the coil to wick it.

Did it ever work for you, when the mix was newly mixed?

Yes went on holidays with this particular mix and it was working fine. It wasn't particularly hot where I went so I don't think heat was an issue.

What kind of e-cig gear do you use?

Basic vaporesso vape kit

How much VG and PG in the e-juice?

Yes I used 70/30.

I will try it again this weekend and do some tests with it. I wanna be sure that I didn't just mess up the e-cig settings but I used this vape kit many times, so it's a bit odd.

Anyways worst case is I prepare new juice but I would like to be sure about the long term stability of spice in ejuice!
