DMT/NMT Retrieving method needed for paste at the bottom of a mason jar

I believe you can just add solvent to dissolve the spice then evap in a smaller dish or onto a changa or leaf blend.

If it is freebase DMT the naptha should pick it up. Did u try shaking or stirring the warm naphtha to see if it helped dissolve some DMT from the jar?

You could also try another solvent with better DMT solubility.

Very Soluble in Xylene, Toluene, Limonene, acetone, Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA), methanol, ethanol, Dichloromethane (DCM), chloroform, ether, Butanone (also known as methyl ethyl ketone (MEK)) and butanol.
Soluble in naphtha, hexane, heptane but almost insoluble in these solvents at freezing temperatures
Almost insoluble in water.

Personally I would try adding acetone, mixing or scraping if necessary to get all DMT into acetone. Then evap onto a very small amount of leaf. You can redo the acetone evap onto more leaf if the DMT ratio is too high.

that is exactly wall all my stuff looked like, i scraped up what i could, then placed the glass container in hot water, it melted a bit, then added heptane and stirred it up really well to get it all dissolved. im sure acetone would work also, then just make some changa

i got more goo on my later pulls, and i'm going to try a few extra pulls than i would normally do in attempt to get more of the goo. that paste is the caviar of gods, i feel honored to have made it, it was unexpected. when smoked has a nice mild floral taste. it feels as potent in effect as dmt, but the trip don't start right away -and psychedelic effects tend to last longer(i think, gotta experiment more).

when still a bit wet, i was able to move most with razor blade to one side of my collection bowl.


I put a nice size glob of the goo in my bong, and ohh man -sorry to underestimate it. it's similar to dmt but with a smooth edge, it was a very rounded high, and weird. i'm going to call mine rainbow spice

My first and only extraction was with ACRB and I end up with the same goo, if you use hot vinegar and a little water it should saturate the vinegar and then you can boil it down in a spoon to freebase then smoke it. I have no idea if it's Dmt or not as it's my first time but it's active. And it works Oraly which was very suprizing to me. Its pretty amazing though I know what you mean. There's other freebase methods than boiling of the vinegar to but that way is fast. If It doesn't dissolve then it could be N-Oxide too.

a dry alcohol lik acetone should pick all the freebase alkaloids up. you don't need much or to warm it, just ~3 5ml pulls or so.

Evap for changa, fasa/i for fumarates, evap/redissole in minimal warm heptane, evap til milky and freeze in a shot glass sealed well are all options on the table. Anything not soluble in warm heptane/naptha prob is not going to crystalize, and changa would be a good option there.

But yes, dry acetone should pull ALL the frebase alkaloids at high solubulity. Its what i would use if you have acess to it.

much of my paste got a yellow tint to it, it's cleary laced with dmt and maybe nmt? either way i love it, and i agree much more social. Me and a buddy ended up listening to music for hours in hypserspace taking hits of paste, and using it like hash.

if this paste is nmt.. then there may be a way to convert it to dmt, by adding zinc powder to the solution before doing the naphta pull? this has been done, i have a acacia alkaloid profile book which used this method to convert nmt to dmt.

anyways.. my yield is about 2 grams crystal 3 gram of paste.. from 2 pulls. newbie and i did make plenty of mistakes; i let the naptha sit on top of soup overnight my second pull, got mostly paste.. and first pull didn't mix too well. (shook 6 to 10 times without waiting for separation). third pull in freezer.

also.. is this paste orally active? i liked a bit off my fingers and got a nice buzz.

This is in error. Zinc can reduce DMT-N-Oxide back to DMT, but not nmt. Nen and Endlessness' tests show almost No oxide in any acacia samples. NMT is really cool.

i also found that putting some dmt xtals on top of the changa that i made from the goop helped with the breakthrough. it was hard to weigh how much goo i had but it was roughly 1:1 mixed with some peppermint. i put about 100mg of the changa in a bowl and it was enough for 2 doses with mild breakthroughs by its self. seemed to be quite a bit more auditory (especially with ear plugs in) and had just mild visuals. it came on much slower and smoother than dmt xtals alone and the after effects did trail out quite further. it was much like a mushroom trip after coming back, for about 15minutes. after that i put 20mg of xtals on top of about 50mg of changa and it was extremely intense auditory and visual with the long after effects also i got 2 solid breakthroughs with that bowl.
