[quote:e80bace259="rightangle"][quote:e80bace259]Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death. Life is only a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather![/quote:e80bace259] I always throught Tool wrote that ! It's in the last song on Anima.[/quote:e80bace259] This I got from Wikipedia: [quote:e80bace259]Ænima was dedicated to satirist Bill Hicks who died two-and-a-half years before its release. Some clips of Hicks' performances are included on both Ænima and Undertow, including multiple sketches about psychedelic drugs and a sample of a bleating sheep. The lenticular casing of the Ænima shows California falling into the Pacific Ocean, and the chorus of the song "Ænema" features the lyric "Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona Bay"; these are references to another popular Hicks sketch about his hatred of Los Angeles.[/quote:e80bace259] So it's a very nice (and good sounding!) tribute to Bill Hicks.
.[/quote:e27acad5ed] I've always looked at the drug laws for the people that wouldn't handle the drugs anyways. Young souls that haven't created a strong enough character to choose for them selves. They make others tell them what to do and what not. If your mind isn't strong enough to think independent than how are you going to use your mind to navigate through the maze of a strong psychedelic trip? These substances are not for sheeps. Many people would only get terrified using these substances and freak out. Some of this stuff can make you crazy if you're not ready. And the law protects these people. If you're ment to use'em then you will. Nothing in the universe could have stopped me from trying out different kinds of drugs. I choose not to follow these laws because I feel like they do not apply to me
[/quote:56d5738a91] It's getting harder and harder to become a citizen in The Netherlands, thanks to some right wing politicians supported by a story-hungry media who's always looking for that special something/someone bashing story. But that said, the weather ain't that bad since last years global warming.
[/quote:56d5738a91] Sounds like the same problems we're having here in the states. That's unfortunate that politicians and media types are effing every thing up.
