Does White Caapi Vine have Alkaloids? Gibran extraction tek issues.

Followed Gibran2 Caapi extraction tek twice and both times no precipitate.

I use white shredded caapi vine from a good UK Mimosa Hostillis vendor (i successfully extracted some nice spice from their MH bark)

is it possible that there are no alkaloids in white caapi, or perhaps this vendors white caapi?

All I got from the extraction was what looked like plant matter at the bottom of the container.

any suggestion, I'm tempted to get some black or yellow vine and try again as it seems such a great and easy way to get harmalas.

first, are you sure that it is Banisteriopsis Caapi you have, and not some mislabled vine like tetrapterys, Alicia etc that is being sold as white caapi(this has been happening)?

If your sure it is B.caapi..then yeah there is definatly harmalas in there from my experience. I have had "white" vine that was really great.

Im not sure actually, also not sure if im allowed to mention the vendor to get other UK customers responses to their stock but i did have some good Mimosa Hostillis from them. Thought id got tek wrong but did it twice so ruling that out!

I could email them but dont suppose ill get an answer saying they made a mistake or their supplier did.

Can i ask for good UK suppliers on this forum as its not an illegal product or is that not allowed?
