Does your significant other think your crazy?

Migrated topic.

The reason I ask is my friends wife is sure she married a mad scientist
How does your significant other handle all the lab equipment, seeds, root barks, leaves, glowing liquids, powders etc.

This survey only applies to the fictional world of DMT Nexus. Fictional characters with fictional lives.

Mine doesn't even bat an eyelid. She thinks it's slightly eccentric, but she lets me do what I need to. My very significant other rocks!

Mine didn't and is no longer my significant other.

That is sad. But we all make our own choices.

I personally haven't started in the spice-extraction hobby yet, however I told my significant other about my plans to, and her only admonition was:
"Don't get lost in that world"

Unluckily for her I will get lost in that world, but I will always come back. I dont know what I would do without her

Mine is fascinated by it all and partakes in my voyages. To be honest, i don't like the thought of smoking it without her. She is amazing and we have seen each other in such profound and unimaginable ways that has brought us even closer. She has seen me covered in shimmering gold and light and i've seen directly into her beautiful soul. Spice has changed both our lives and our relationship. She also loves the idea that i extract it myself. It makes it so much more personal.

Luckily for me I was already with my girlfriend when I decided to become a professional hypnotist. She didnt understand at first but now that everything went well she doesnt think Im "that" crazy :)

Taking sacred plants to access different states of consciouness than hypnosis seems a logical progression of my initial goals so its fine. She fears entheogens a lot but wants to journey when she'll feel ready.

Im lucky to have somebody who accepts me like I am and can share the craziness with me.

But by society standards I am definitly becoming crazier. Which is enjoyable.

Before we had our kid my wife was right there with me too. She's still very understanding and actually comforting on the voyages but no longer partakes.

Fascinating career choice. I can definitely see how they coincide.
