Dubstep?

Migrated topic.
Dont mind some ragga jungle as long its not too much shouting, dont like that soundclash stuff just relentless rambling, same as some dnb mc's, can totally ruin good music! love anything by soundmurderer got all his stuff on vinyl, heres a ragga jungle one I love! Boom boom! :d

Great set from the don of Ragga Jungle on radio one, classic set! you may not like it benzyne, lots of ragga shouting, but it works for me! :d  In three parts!

Sorry this is supposed to be a dubstep thread, similiar elements I suppose lol

my friend's album just came out this week... he put a promo mix of it up on youtube:

it falls under the banner of dubstep, but its most definitely not your typical dubstep... its more like broken techno/breakbeat with some dub elements.

;)

I like some dubstep too.I also liked the link balaganist put up for his friend Elemental.I have been listening to alot of Eoto lately. Here is a link to one of there tracks. They are really good live.Must see to be appreciated.

Eoto

the only dubstep i have come across was at festivals while staying in nz. been away for a bit now.
found these clips from .3rd resistance zone, canaan downs new years festival. would this classify as dubstep?

I love some good Drum'n Bass, techno, electro and even sometimes house but I just can't stand dubstep and I think it's shit! :p

"'ere me now, come bleh blub whekjlf sihgfkoh ...WEYYOOH!"
*bang*

*ragga drops*

hahaha.... Yeah it ruins the night for me most of the time. The only mc I can enjoy is Mc Conrad, when he performs with Ltj Bukem its good times

Dubstep is good in moderation, I've found the genre hasnt really moved in the past year, here are some artists worth watching, they are all urban grime or mild rasta, except for Black seeds which is kiwi roots music

16-bit goodness
bar 9
mrk1 (more chilled)
6blocc
fused forces
Wartech upcoming artist
Marchmellow remix of the beatles

Following two are some riskotheque

Last but not least some Black Seeds, if you didnt follow any of the other links or didnt like them, then you are bound to enjoy this

Thats my current dubstep watch list, I have plenty more from other styles of the genre so just ask if you need something fresh

New Bassnectar tour announced if you havnt seen him nows your chance tix will sellout dont sleep on it

For the most part I don't like all that much dubstep, but I've been to a few psytrance gigs & doofs that had some fairly good dubstep artists playing. It's a bit stranger to dance too though, I can't do those free, flowing movements that I can for psy- dub is more grindey with my feet & low to the ground >.>
