So when it comes to cleaning the used Ethyl Acetate I've been doing the shake method then followed by the salt water/brine wash.
After doing this and decanting to leave the brine behind, do I then need to do a freezer rest to remove any water that's now in the EA to return it back to its original water content? (or close to it as possible)
Does the brine step add more water to the EA?
I tried to go the mag stir route but when I added the sodium carbonate it clumped up around the stir bar and stopped it spinning no matter how high I cranked it up.
