I wish I could man, I really, really do. I just don't think I can.
I made a tea out of 2 feet of bridgesii about a year ago and I reduced it down to about a cup. Then when I took my first tiny sip I went into shock. I couldn't believe how bad it was.
I ended up evaping it down to a resin and eating that.
I have read that the tea is definitely the best way, not to mention it is the easiest also. I just remember telling myself that there is no way I could ever get that tea down. I think I need to try it again though because I would love the ability to swallow cactus tea.

Whats so bad about limo? I never did a mescaline extraction but its pretty damn easy to work with limo for DMT extractions..I cant imagine why its any different for cacti extraction. Are you trying to evaporate the limo or something? Just salt it.
Or jsut reduce it all down to a shot and shoot it. It's not really that hard. Just biiter.
Well, there is a part of the tek where you have to press the cacti sludge to get out all of the d-limo and it sucked really, really, really bad.
Yeah, I keep hearing to reduce down to a shot. I think I will try that. I reduced it down to a cup last time and tried "drinking" it....bad idea.

I have had a very successful extraction doing the following:
Make tea,
reduce,
basify with NaOH,
pull with xylene (limo would work here),
salt out with HCl,
dry,
trip.
Pretty simple, and I've pulled now 1.5 grams of mescaline from 750 grams of fresh cactus.
I do like the tea, but after way overdoing it, I prefer the extract. I wanted about a level 3-4, and got a level 50. So, I like knowing what I'm getting, and the cactus seems quite variable. I'll extract unknown cactus, and leave my own cultivated and previously tested cacti for tea.
How'd you make it? I think whole chunks slow-simmered is the best way. I imagine boiling powder would leave you with elephant snot.behindthelight said:DeDao said:Drink the tea. There is a ceremonial feel to it in my opinion.

Seems pretty easy. Explain the "salt out" part though please.
So you add some HCL to your xylene and then what do you do?

hostilis said:This is what I do too. I salt with acetic acid though. Maybe I should bust out the hcl. Mine is 12 molar though. I'm kinda scared to work with it.
